The annual WUSS conference is conducted for the educational growth, training, and networking of conference attendees. In order to further these goals, the WUSS Executive Committee is providing a limited number of scholarships to college and university professors or lecturers to attend the 2012 WUSS conference with complimentary conference registration, full hotel room rate, up to two ½ day classes (Wed AM and/or Fri PM), and travel money up to $350 to cover approved transportation expenses for accepted applications. The conference will be held September 5-7, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California.
APPLICANT MUST:
- Be a college/university professor or lecturer with a teaching or research assignment during the 2012-2013 academic year.
- Provide proof of teaching/research assignment via an official letter from your college/university (including contact information).
- Use or be planning to use SAS in your teaching or research.
- Submit and present a presentation* (not including Coders' Corner or Posters) at the WUSS 2012 conference.
Application and accompanying verification documents must be submitted no later than May 14, 2012
The scholarship requires that you fulfill the role of a class coordinator during one of the ½ day classes.

Any faculty member who meets the outlined eligibility requirements is encouraged to apply. All applicants must submit a complete online application and proof of teaching/research assignment. INCOMPLETE APPLICATION PACKETS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
