Opening Session and Keynote Address
The Conference Chairs welcome the attendees and announce the major themes and events of their conference at the Opening Session. They also introduce the team of volunteers who help organize and run the conference. The Opening Session's most outstanding feature is the keynote address.

First Time Attendee Session
Welcome to the first-time WUSS attendees! At the first-timers session you will hear about the opportunities for learning, networking and professional development while at the conference. This session is a good place to meet other first-timers and learn how to get the most out of the conference.

Exhibit and Demo Areas
Join us in the WUSS Exhibit and Demo Areas. These areas have been designed with an emphasis on learning, interaction, and networking.

The Exhibit and Demo Areas will be open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  1. Meet and talk to SAS Presenters and SAS specialists.
  2. Learn about the latest SAS products, solutions and services.
  3. Visit with invited exhibitors.
  4. Provide feedback to SAS.
  5. Browse through numerous SAS publications and purchase SAS books at a discount.
  6. Visit the Code Clinic with your SAS code to have an expert recommend solutions to code problems.
  7. Enter drawings for great prizes to be given away at the Closing Session.
  8. Visit the SAS Demo Theater with unique 15-30 minute "Super Demos" provided by experts from SAS. The SAS Super Demos are a must!

Networking Mixer
The Networking Mixer is on Wednesday evening and allows attendees a chance to meet with their colleagues and make new and renew old friendships in a relaxed setting. Come get acquainted with conference speakers, SAS employees and other WUSS attendees while enjoying great food and refreshments.

SAS Customer Appreciation Networking Luncheon
Come to the SAS Customer Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday and enjoy lunch onsite with your fellow conference attendees.

Code Clinic
Emergency treatment for your SAS code! Have your macros lost their 'MEND' or your SQL just not "Quitting"? Our Code Doctors will examine the symptoms, diagnose the problem, and provide the cure! Have a free consultation with our Code Doctors. Bring a printout and/or e-file containing your code, source data and error messages for a definitive diagnosis.

Consultant's Registry
If you are in need of consultants, review the qualifications of many consultants in the WUSS Consultants' Registry. If you are a SAS software consultant or consulting company and want to be included in the Registry, complete the form at: www.wuss.org/Conference/ConsultantRegistry.pdf
Three hole punch the completed form, bring it to the conference and add it to the binder found in the Registration Area.

Positions Available and Resumes Binders
Companies can list available positions and individuals can include their resumes in the Position Referral Binders in the Registration Area.

Closing Session
As WUSS wraps up for 2011, come join in the celebration of best papers at the closing session, and enjoy your chance to win raffles, door prizes and other freebies. Come also to say good-bye to your SAS friends.

Conference Proceedings
The WUSS 2011 Conference Proceedings will be available on the WUSS website.

WUSS Children's Book Drive
As in years past, WUSS 2011 will sponsor a Children's Book Drive to benefit children in need in the Bay area. Please pack a new or gently used child’s book to drop off at the book drive table in the registration area. If you prefer, a monetary donation can be made at the conference and we will purchase books. The books will be distributed to reading centers in shelters and community organizations in the area. Your contribution is greatly appreciated!

SAS Certification Exams
Get Certified at WUSS2011!
Boost your professional career with a SAS Certification credential and save 20% off the exam fee at WUSS 2011. Exams will be offered Friday afternoon, October 14 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
