LEARN  
The annual WUSS conference is conducted for the educational growth, training, and networking of conference attendees. In order to further these goals, the WUSS Executive Committee is providing scholarships to full-time college or university undergraduate or graduate students to attend the 2012 WUSS conference with complimentary conference registration, discounted hotel room rate and up to two ½ day classes (Wed AM and/or Fri PM) for accepted applications. The conference will be held September 5-7, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, CA.

APPLICANT MUST:

Travel Scholarship A limited number of students who submit and present an abstract* (presentation or poster) are eligible to receive: full hotel room rate and travel money up to $350 to cover approved transportation expenses in addition to the regular scholarship benefits (conference registration, discounted hotel rate, up to two ½ day classes included).  Application and accompanying verification documents must be submitted no later than May 14, 2012

Regular Scholarship (conference registration, discounted hotel rate, up to two ½ day classes).  Application and accompanying verification documents must be submitted no later than Aug 3, 2012

The scholarship requires that you fulfill the role of a session or class coordinator. This duty takes approximately 4 hours at a pre- or post-conference class or in-conference presentations.

Any student who meets the outlined eligibility requirements is encouraged to apply.  All applicants must submit a complete online application and proof of full-time student status. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
