Train
The LA Metro Rail is a system with light rail/subway lines covering all of Los Angeles County (Metropolitan Los Angeles plus Santa Monica, Long Beach, Pasadena and more). A one-way fare (including any connections) is $1.75. The B (Red) Line Subway, Universal City Station, is directly across from Universal Studios. The Sheraton Universal hotel is a 10-15 min walk up a somewhat steep incline (½ mile).
All the Metro lines connect through Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, so attendees have easy access to the many local and nearby attractions available in the Los Angeles area. This also gives local area attendees the ability to attend the conference without driving! (a href=”http://www.metro.net/”>http://www.metro.net/)
Several rail and bus systems connect with the Red Line through Union Station
- Metrolink is a commuter rail system in Southern California, serving Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties, as well as to Oceanside in San Diego County.
- Amtrak connects Seattle to San Diego as well as many other cities in California and other Western states.
- Greyhound Bus
The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner/Coast Starlight routes and the Metrolink Ventura/Antelope Valley lines all stop at the Hollywood Burbank Airport Train Station located next to the airport, 5 miles from the hotel (see above).
