There is a lot to do here including shopping, restaurants, and the Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club. The historic Delta King boat is docked here as well that has a really good restaurant.
California State Capitol | It’s a living museum! You can stroll the hallways and see where the state’s leaders worked 150 years ago, then walk past the governor’s office and the Legislature’s chambers, where the state is still governed.
Crocker Art Museum | 5-10 min drive
This museum is partly housed in the beautifully maintained Victorian Crocker mansion. Inside is work by California impressionists, ancient art from across the world and one of the largest collections of European drawings.
Murals that Amuse | Take a look around and discover the hundreds of murals—more than 650—in Sacramento. The Wide Open Walls mural festival, held here since 2016, has added to the collection as local and international artists converge in the city to create these large-scale paintings. A self-guided walking tour of these sights is highly recommended.
Sac Brew Bike | Experience Sacramento by pedaling through the tree-lined streets of Midtown on the Sac Brew Bike, a 15-passenger, pedal-powered “bar bike” that stops and visits some of city’s best watering holes.
