Topics covered may include coding techniques, data manipulation, statistical analysis, report generation, macro programming, application development, and the latest techniques for building powerful SAS applications and generating high-quality reports and visualizations.
SAS® defines analytics as “data-driven insight for better decisions.” Popular topics in this section include aspects of data modeling and forecasting, as well as demonstrations of analytic procedures, such as analysis of variance, Bayesian statistics, logistic regression, mixed models, factor analysis, and time series analyses. Presentations offered include practical applications and results of statistical methods used to analyze data from a variety of fields.
Presentations designed for new SAS programmers and focusing on specific topics such as functions, formats, or combining data sets.
Best practices, techniques, and strategies for managing, organizing, and administering data using SAS software. Topics include data integration, data transformation, data quality, data governance, data warehousing, data security, and metadata management as well as strategies for administering and configuring SAS software environments and optimizing system performance.
This section explores the intersection of SAS software and open source technologies, the latest developments and trends in open source software, and how they can be integrated with SAS to enhance data analysis, visualization, and model building. Topics covered may include Python, R, SQL, and other popular open source tools, as well as methods for integrating them with SAS in a seamless and efficient manner.
This section focuses on the use of SAS software in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Attendees will learn about the latest applications and best practices for using SAS to analyze clinical trial data, develop predictive models for patient outcomes, and improve healthcare operations. Topics covered may include clinical trial design, drug safety monitoring, real-world evidence analysis, epidemiology, and health analytics.
Presentations related to working as statistical programmers, statisticians, data scientists, and in related roles. Topics include career development, mentoring and leading teams, consulting and contracting, networking techniques, training and education, and other relevant subjects.
Interactive training to provide attendees a “hands-on” opportunity to use SAS software along with third-party tools. Bring your laptop or other device and practice techniques in a classroom setting under the skillful guidance of seasoned experts. Topics vary widely. Invited Speakers only.
e-Posters feature a variety of innovative topics and provide an alternative format that lends itself to presenting graphics, source code, statistics, novel concepts, and much more. e-Posters are available throughout the conference and allow an author to contribute to the conference without the need for a formal lecture. Authors are available at scheduled times to answer questions.
