WUSS 2024 Authors’ Forum

WUSS is grateful for the 75 unique presenters contributing invaluable content to the 2024 conference proceedings across 100 lectures, live demos, hands-on workshops, and SAS-quatschen facilitated discussions. These contributions showcase (and, moreover, transfer) the knowledge that presenters have worked so hard to achieve.

To our presenters, we thank you for your efforts, which promise to make WUSS an enjoyable, informative, and exhilarating experience for all!

To this end, book authorship represents a special achievement of demonstrable subject matter expertise, and in 2024, 17 book authors are sharing their contributions throughout the conference. WUSS is offering 11 pre- and post-conference paid tutorials taught by these authors (https://www.wuss.org/classes/), and if you cannot attend one of these classes, 38 talks (more than one-third of the conference) are presented by these incredible authors.

WUSS 2024 Authors’ Forum Schedule and Activities

Come to the WUSS Opening Session, held SEP 4 at 1pm, for a special introduction to these 17 authors, who collectively have written more than 50 books!!! Most of these are technical books, but some authors have ventured into other arenas, and shouldn’t your bookshelf be adorned with a copy of Ron Cody’s The Enigma Terrorists spy thriller?!

Stay for the WUSS Welcome Reception, held SEP 4 at 2pm, and mingle with authors. We encourage you to bring copies of their books if you’re looking for autographs, or if you have technical questions about the content therein. And for anyone interested in publishing, this is an excellent networking opportunity to pick their brains for guidance, pitfalls, or lessons learned in the publishing world.

And make sure you come back for the WUSS Opening Mixer, held SEP 4 at 6pm,  where some authors and other attendees will compete in playful competition, including the hands-free pie-eating challenge!!
